You will own complex projects end-to-end, partnering with business and technology stakeholders to turn data into measurable business impact.\nYou will play a pivotal role in bridging business challenges and advanced analytics, shaping how data science is applied across the organization and elevating both its impact and maturity.\nWhat you will do:\nLead data science projects from problem framing to production deployment\nMake key decisions on methodology, trade-offs, and technical direction\nDevelop and deploy machine learning and AI models to drive customer value and operational efficiency\nAct as Data Lead on strategic initiatives, and serve as the go-to data science expert on critical, cross-functional programs\nTranslate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical problems\nDrive alignment between stakeholders and ensure delivery of tangible, measurable outcomes\nStay deeply hands-on\nApply advanced analytics techniques in complex, multi-source and big data environments\nPromote high standards in code quality, reproducibility, and model governance\nSupport adoption of responsible and ethical AI practices\nProvide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists\nFoster a culture of ownership, pragmatism, and continuous improvement\nPartner with business stakeholders to identify high-impact opportunities\nCommunicate complex analytical insights in a clear, compelling, and actionable way\nDrive data adoption and data-driven decision making across the organization\nYour profile:\nAlmeno 4 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics roles\nProven ability to own projects end-to-end in production environments\nStrong track record of working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments\nNatural ownership mindset: you don’t just build models-you drive impact\nMachine learning (supervised, unsupervised, semi-supervised)\nStatistical modeling and experimentation\nAdvanced proficiency in: Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, etc.), SQL, and/or R\nProductionization and collaboration with engineering teams\nSolid understanding of Data pipelines and large-scale data processing\nExperience with version control (Git)\nAbility to connect data work to real business outcomes and KPIs\nExperience interacting with stakeholders and influencing decisions\nCapability to identify and prioritize high-value use cases\nExperience leading projects or initiatives, even without direct reports\nExperience mentoring or coaching other data scientists\nFluency in English and Italian is required\nWhat we offer:\nFor employees covered by the Private Radio and Television Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL), compensation starts from €51,000 gross per year.\nPermanent employment contract.\nCompensation commensurate with experience and specific skills.\nEligibility for the annual incentive scheme.\nAccess to Sky’s wellbeing programme, Sky4You, designed to support employees throughout different stages of life.
