We are looking for Electrical Engineering Interns who will help prototype, validate, develop, and refine the electrical systems that bring together state-of-the-art computing hardware, sensing, and power systems in the latest autonomous flying sensors. As a member of the Electrical Engineering team, you will be helping solve tough challenges alongside a team of world-class engineers.\nHow you’ll make an impact:\nTake ownership of low-voltage electronic hardware development, including specification, schematic design, PCB layout, prototyping, and fabrication\n\nPerform hands-on bring-up, assembly, and debugging of custom circuit boards for testing and validation\n\nCollaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, firmware, reliability, software, and electrical teams to build reliable test and validation systems for new products\n\nDevelop and test PCBAs for subsystems such as power distribution, battery management, sensing, motor control, and computing\n\nParticipate in schematic, layout, and BOM reviews, providing feedback on internally and externally developed designs\n\nSupport system integration and test activities through test execution, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.\n\nWhat makes you a good fit:\nCurrently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related field)\n\nSolid grasp of electrical engineering fundamentals\n\nFamiliar with basic EE lab tools (oscilloscope, signal generators, etc.)\n\nSome experience with power electronics (motor driver, switch mode power supplies…), digital electronics (MCU, FPGA, Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C…), and/or analog electronics (filters, ADC/DAC…)\n\nPrevious internship work on electronic products\n\nFamiliar with an EDA software suite, preferably Cadence Allegro\n\nAbility to quickly prototype solutions and circuit demonstrations\n\nAbility to work autonomously\n\nCompensation Range: The hourly rate for this position is $47/hr for Undergrad, $53/hr for Graduate students, and $58/hr for PhD students*. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Interns are eligible to receive the following benefits: Paid vacation time, sick leave, holiday pay and 401K savings plan.
