If you’re passionate about knowing how everything works from top to bottom, learning new technologies, and automating wherever possible, we’d love to hear from you.\nHow You’ll Make an Impact:\nRe-architect our build and compute infrastructure to provide developers a delightful experience\n\nUse technologies like containerization, remote caching, and job orchestration to optimize build setup and runtime\n\nAnalyze system usage to improve time-to-insight in the build system\n\nUnderstand and improve developer workflows to reduce onboarding time for new developers\n\nFigure out how to make these workflow improvements while helping the system be more cost-efficient\n\nWhat Makes You a Good Fit:\nUnderstand cloud platforms architecture, especially networking, security, storage, and resilient application topologies\n\nPrior experience implementing Continuous Deployment and Continuous Integration practices\n\nPrior experience writing and maintaining Terraform\n\nPrior experience using Bazel\n\nCan write and test software in Go, Python, or C++\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant experience\n\nObtaining FAA Part 107 certification within the first 60 days of employment is strongly encouraged for all Skydio employees and required for certain positions\n\nCompensation:\nAt Skydio, our compensation packages for regular, full-time employees include competitive base salaries, equity in the form of stock options, and comprehensive benefits packages. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Relocation assistance may also be provided for eligible roles. The annual base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $240,000*.
