You will design, integrate and test electronic systems for our solar-powered unmanned aircraft, working hands-on from design through ground and flight testing. We are looking for a smart, curious engineer with 2+ years of experience who learns fast. More senior candidates are also welcome.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and develop aircraft electronic systems, including power distribution, harnesses, avionics interfaces, and solar and battery power systems.\nCreate electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and harness drawings, and maintain the related documentation.\nSelect and specify electrical components, and work with suppliers on technical requirements.\nRun analog and digital simulations to evaluate circuit behavior in all operating conditions.\nLay out multi-layer printed circuit boards (PCBs).\nPlan and run development and verification tests, troubleshoot issues, and analyze test data.\nSupport integration of electrical systems on the aircraft and on test benches.\nSupport ground and flight test campaigns.\nContribute to requirements, design reviews, and verification and validation activities.\nWork closely with the avionics, mechanical, software and manufacturing teams in Spain and the US.\nSupport compliance with applicable aerospace standards (e.g., DO-160, MIL-STD-704).\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunications or Industrial Engineering (or similar).\n2+ years of experience in electrical or electronic engineering. More experienced candidates are welcome.\nKnowledge of electrical power systems, circuit design and wiring/harness design.\nExperience with electrical CAD and simulation tools (e.g., Altium Designer, LTspice).\nExperience with PCB design for embedded hardware.\nHands-on experience with lab equipment, testing and troubleshooting.\nStrong problem-solving skills, curiosity and the ability to learn quickly.\nFluent English (written and spoken); Spanish is a plus.\nEligible to work in Spain.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in aerospace, UAV, automotive/EV or another regulated industry.\nKnowledge of batteries, solar arrays, power electronics or high-voltage DC systems.\nFamiliarity with DO-160, MIL-STD-704 or similar standards.\nProgramming or scripting skills (Python, MATLAB/Simulink).\nExperience supporting flight or field testing.\nApplication Information\nPlease note the following when applying:\nPlease ensure that your resume/CV is submitted in English.\nCandidates should submit only one application.
