You’ll play a key role in fostering positive employee relations, managing performance, and supporting talent management processes to drive engagement and business success.\nThe Role:\nAs an HR Officer, you will act as a key point of contact for managers and employees, providing consistent and proactive HR support across all areas. From employee relations and performance management to HR systems and reporting, this role ensures the smooth operation of HR processes while promoting best practices and a positive company culture.\nKey Responsibilities:\nEmployee Relations:\nActively manage employee relations matters in collaboration with department managers.\nProvide HR guidance to business managers on policies, procedures, and initiatives.\nSupport and advise managers on handling performance-related matters to ensure adherence to HR policies and best practices.\nSupport employee relations processes including investigations, disciplinary matters, grievances and absence management.\nTalent Management & Development:\nIdentify, develop, and retain top talent through structured programmes and initiatives.\nAssist in the recruitment and onboarding of high-calibre candidates, ensuring a seamless transition into the business.\nSupport the implementation and maintenance of employee performance appraisal systems across all departments.\nFacilitate employee orientation, training, and ongoing development programmes.\nHR Systems & Reporting:\nMaintain HR-related IT systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records.\nProduce and report on key HR statistics via a monthly HR Scorecard for executive and senior management.\nGenerate payroll data for joiners, leavers, and employee changes in line with payroll schedules.\nMaintain accurate HR records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.\nReward & Recognition:\nDevelop and administer staff retention strategies to drive engagement and employee satisfaction.\nSupport employee recognition and engagement initiatives across the business.\nHR Policy & Compliance:\nEnsure HR policies align with the company’s mission, values, and regulatory requirements.\nAssist in policy development and documentation to maintain compliance with employment legislation.\nSupport employee safety, welfare, and wellness initiatives, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.\nWorkforce Planning & Strategy:\nLiaise with the operational planning department to manage headcount forecasting and workforce planning.\nAid in the development and execution of internal communication strategies to align HR practices with business objectives.\nLiaise with key stakeholders to ensure HR activities are aligned with operational and business requirements.\nAdditional Responsibilities:\nProvide consistent end-to-end HR services across all areas of the business.\nAct as a key point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers.\nSupport the development and implementation of HR initiatives and internal communication strategies.\nCoordinate employee safety, welfare, and workplace wellness initiatives.\nUndertake other HR-related duties as assigned to support business needs and the wider HR function.\nRequirements\nEssential Criteria:\nHR Degree, BA Hons.\n2+ years of HR experience in a generalist or broad HR role.\nHR best practice and experience with employee relations.\nProficiency in MS Office programs.\nExperience with HR data management, reporting, and analysis.\nExperience working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.\nExperience partnering with department heads.\nEligible to work in Ireland.\nExperience adapting to change within an organisation is a plus.\nBenefits\nBenefits of Working with SHP:\nAt Sky Handling Partner, our benefits are designed to support your financial and personal well-being while creating a positive team culture where every contribution is celebrated.
