This is a true player-coach position -you’ll lead the team while also driving routes and supporting the operation wherever needed.\nWe’re looking for someone with prior management, supervisory, or team leadership experience who knows how to motivate people, hold standards, solve problems, and lead by example.\nTransportation or logistics experience is a plus, but it is not required. We can teach you the logistics side of the business-we’re looking for someone who already knows how to lead people.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a strong frontline leader who enjoys being active and involved rather than sitting behind a desk.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead Daily Operations: Serve as an on-site leader and help ensure safe, reliable, and on-time service.\nDrive & Support the Team: Operate company passenger vans as needed to maintain coverage and keep the operation moving.\nCoach & Develop Drivers: Provide real-time direction, reinforce expectations, recognize strong performance, and address issues when needed.\nPromote Safety & Compliance: Reinforce company safety policies, conduct readiness checks, and lead by example.\nSupport Staffing & Scheduling: Assist with daily coverage, call-outs, schedule adjustments, and operational needs.\nReinforce Training: Help new and existing drivers understand company procedures, service expectations, and safety standards.\nSolve Problems: Make sound decisions and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.\nMaintain Accountability: Complete required documentation and communicate operational issues to station leadership.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nPrior management, supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience required\nTransportation, logistics, hospitality, aviation, or similar operational experience is a plus, but not required\nStrong communication and people-management skills\nHands-on leadership style with the ability to coach and hold team members accountable\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record\nMinimum 3 years of licensed driving experience\nComfortable driving large passenger vans\nAbility to pass required background check, MVR, and drug screening\nFull-time availability, including weekends and holidays\nReliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts consistently\nWhat We Offer\n Starting Pay: $20.00/hour + Daily Cash Tips\nHealth, Dental & Vision Insurance\n401(k) with Company Match\nPaid Time Off (PTO)\nLife Insurance\nPaid Training\nReferral Program\nCareer Growth: Advancement opportunities with a growing company that promotes from within\nWork Environment & Policies\nOn-site position at our RDU station\nSkyHop Global is a Drug-Free Workplace\nStrict mobile device policy: No personal cell phone use while operating company vehicles.
