You will be responsible for upholding the quality and reliability of our platform and cloud systems through rigorous testing and comprehensive quality assurance processes. Your work will be central to validating our Data Mobility Platform, Subscriber & Provisioning Platform and Cloud Services within the GCP infrastructure.\nThe ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with a passion for creating best-in-class automation scripts, conducting performance & load testing, and validating Skylo’s robust cloud infrastructure. You will be an essential part of the Connectivity Platform team, ensuring we deliver a scalable, resilient, and high-quality network.\nHow You Will Contribute\nDesign and implement automation test suites to validate customer-facing REST APIs and all features of our cloud components.\n\nCreate performance benchmark for handling millions of subscriber and data transactions\n\nDevelop frameworks and test suites for comprehensive load and regression testing.\n\nValidate the system with millions of data transactions and generate detailed reports and KPIs.\n\nAutomate the build process with regression test suites using Jenkins pipelines and Robot Framework.\n\nAutomate operational processes related to network management, provisioning, and configuration.\n\nDevelop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and enhance overall efficiency.\n\nEnsure that changes to the Skylo network are version-controlled and reproducible.\n\nSet up monitoring solutions to measure the health and performance of both software applications and network infrastructure.\n\nCollaborate with telecom engineers, software developers, and other cross-functional teams to streamline QA processes and foster a culture of quality.\n\nPromote accountability and ownership within the team by championing robust test frameworks, automation, and documentation practices.\n\nWhat We Look For\n8+ years of experience in validation and test automation of backend-heavy applications and services deployed in the cloud.\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.\n\nProven experience as a Cloud QA Engineer in the software industry.\n\nFamiliarity with REST APIs, cloud technologies, and architectures.\n\nValidation experience in backend-heavy applications, services, databases, microservices, and scalability testing.\n\nHands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Robot Framework, JMeter, TestNG.\n\nAbility to use Jenkins for test automation.\n\nStrong knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies, with an understanding of code quality and performance metrics.\n\nSolid understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).\n\nProficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Ruby.\n\nUnderstanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies relevant to the telecom industry.\n\nLeveraging AI tool to generate test cases and test suite\n\nExperience with network configuration management tools.\n\nExperience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, Azure.\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, especially with cross-functional teams.\n\nRelevant certifications in Cloud QA are a plus.\n\nEvery role at Skylo uses AI tools daily to amplify output.
