You will make sure our systems are reliable, secure, well documented, and ready to scale. You will report to the IT Operations & Infrastructure Manager. The position is based at our headquarters in Amsterdam, with regular to the production site during construction and commissioning.\nYour Responsibilities:\nBuild and operate the on-premises server, storage, and virtualization platforms at headquarters and production sites, including the OT hosting environment\n\nAdminister Windows Server and Active Directory, including the domain services that support our production environment\n\nManage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Azure resources, preferably through infrastructure as code\n\nOwn backup, recovery, and disaster recovery, including regular restore tests and offline-capable backups for OT systems\n\nRun patching, hardening, and vulnerability remediation for servers and endpoints\n\nManage the hardware lifecycle with our suppliers, from procurement and installation to support and replacement\n\nKeep documentation, runbooks, and monitoring up to date, and support incident response with our security team and managed SOC provider\n\nYour profile\nAs a growing company in a rapidly evolving industry, we are looking for people who embrace change and are motivated to actively contribute to building and scaling our business. You are someone who feels comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment, takes ownership, and thrives when things are still developing.\nYou recognize yourself in the following:\n3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar infrastructure role\n\nStrong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory, including DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy\n\nHands-on experience with Hyper-V or VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) virtualization, including clustering and shared storage\n\nExperience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft Azure\n\nExperience with backup and disaster recovery tooling and processes\n\nExperience managing HPE server and storage hardware\n\nPowerShell scripting for automation and administration\n\nProfessional working proficiency in English\n\nNice-to-haves:\nMicrosoft (for example AZ-104 or MD-102), VMware VCP, ITIL, or similar certifications\n\nInfrastructure as code with Bicep or Terraform, and Git-based workflows\n\nExperience administering SQL Server databases\n\nExperience supporting OT or industrial environments, or working alongside automation vendors\n\nKnowledge of infrastructure monitoring and security hardening (for example CIS benchmarks)\n\nExperience working in regulated environments (for example NIS2 or ISO 27001)\n\nDutch language skills\n\nYou are proactive, dependable, and take pride in keeping critical systems running smoothly. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues, remain calm under pressure, and enjoy sharing knowledge with your team.
