You will be required to work from the Warminster site five days per week. This is not a hybrid or remote role, and we cannot accommodate candidates who are only able to attend the site for part of the working week.\nSecurity Clearance (SC) is a mandatory requirement for this role. To be considered, you must have been resident in the UK for the last five years and be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance. If you do not meet this residency requirement, we will not be able to progress your application.\nPlease only apply if you meet both of these requirements: five days per week onsite in Warminster, Wiltshire, and five years’ UK residency for SC clearance.\nWhat We Are Looking For:\nThis is not a traditional QA role. You will own verification, validation, and assurance across models and integrated simulation systems, acting as the authority on whether systems are fit for use.\nHighly analytical and structured.\n\nIndependent and evidence-based.\n\nWilling to challenge assumptions and push back when required.\n\nStrong attention to detail without losing sight of overall system behaviour.\n\nClear communicator, able to present findings credibly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nComfortable operating in assurance-heavy and regulated environments.\n\nComfortable making and defending decisions about system credibility and fitness-for-purpose\n\nKey Technical Proficiencies:\nStrong understanding of VV&A principles and frameworks as well as model and system validation approaches.\n\nExperience in validating simulation models, assessing fitness-for-purpose and producing structured validation evidence.\n\nExpert in test planning and execution, as well as functional, integrated and regression testing.\n\nAbility to validate behavioural correctness, effects and interactions and timing and responsiveness.\n\nExperience integrating documentation into governed systems.\n\nFamiliarity with Defence and M&S standards such as JSP 939, NATO VV&A guidance, and relevant FOMs (e.g. RPR-FOM, NETN-FOM) is desirable.\n\nExperience producing structured documentation and evidence aligned to regulated environments.\n\nExperience integrating validation outputs into governed systems, including linking validation status and evidence to versioned artefacts.\n\nExperience with tooling to support testing and validation (e.g. automated test frameworks, data analysis tools, scripting in Python) is desirable.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Responsible For:\nOwn verification, validation and assurance (VV&A) across models, simulation components, and integrated training systems, and supporting data.\n\nDefine and maintain test and validation strategy aligned to training needs, customer requirements, system capabilities, and exercise design intent..\n\nDesign and execute functional and integration tests and scenario based validation exercises.\n\nValidate models against authoritative data sources, SME expectations and expected behaviours.\n\nAssess model fidelity and realism, behavioural correctness, and system performance under realistic conditions.\n\nValidate end-to-end system behaviour, including cross-system interactions, data flows, timing, and consistency.\n\nSupport authority-led validation, acceptance, and accreditation activities.\n\nProduce test plans, validation reports and evidence packs for customer review.\n\nEnsure validation outcomes are recorded, traceable, and linked to content and system versions.\n\nProvide clear, defensible evidence based commitments on whether systems are fit for training use.\n\nNote: Please feel empowered to apply for this position, even if you think you may only align with some of the qualities listed above.
