You’ll pair strong aviation fundamentals with sharp risk awareness and the communication skills required to translate complex flight scenarios into actionable insight. \nRESPONSIBILITIES: \nExecute experimental flight tests in a rotorcraft helicopter that directly shape the future of aviation.\nPartner with Flight Test Engineers to translate high-level requirements into executable test strategies, authoring test plans, cards, and procedures that move programs forward quickly and safely.\nDevelop and maintain flight manuals, operations, checklists and procedures.\nLead and/or participate in safety of flight and flight readiness review boards.\nOperate with regulatory rigor and startup velocity, completing documentation that meets FAA standards while enabling rapid iteration.\nMaintain elite proficiency across multiple aircraft platforms, ensuring readiness to support diverse test campaigns as programs evolve.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\n1,000+ hours of Pilot in Command flight time in Rotorcraft\nBachelor's or advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering or other engineering discipline\nFAA Class II Medical\nTeam player with excellent communication skills \nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nGraduate of Navy Test Pilot School, Empire Test Pilot School, or equivalent high-level formal course, or possess 5+ years of direct flight-test experience\nThree years of test pilot experience on developmental flight test programs\nRotorcraft-Helicopter commercial pilot license \nWHY SKYRYSE?\nThe opportunity to change the world through improving aviation safety and accessibility \n$175,000 - $250,000 salary\nValuable stock option plan\nHeavily subsidized medical, dental and vision plans\nFull-time employees are eligible for 20 days of paid time off (PTO) and 5 sick days annually.
