You will play a critical role in developing the spatial technology that will impact the viability of our bold objective to make aviation safer and more accessible to all.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nAssist with all Guidance, Navigation, and Control functions and analysis activities including dynamic trajectory planning and Flight Envelope Protection design \nSupport GNC design specifications generation, validation and verification activities\nGenerate documentation for design, analysis, specification and test procedures and results\nDevelop analysis tools and algorithm using a Matlab/Simulink environment \nSupport Hardware in the Loop (HIL) and flight test activities\nWork in a collaborative manner with other engineering disciplines such as Perception, Safety, Certification and Systems, Flight Test and lines of business as appropriate\nPerform other duties as assigned\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Controls, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering \n3+ years of professional working experience\nProficiency in Matlab/Simulink\nKnowledge in programming in C++ and Python\nFamiliarity with Git and JIRA\nDemonstrated competence with multivariable system modeling and control, analysis and simulation in aircraft applications\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nMaster’s degree or PhD in an engineering discipline\n5+ years of professional working experience\nDemonstrated experience with Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) architectures and deployment in aerospace applications is highly desired.\nExperience with Aircraft Control Law specifications, analysis, development, integration, HIL simulation, flight test, and data analysis\nExperience in optimization, path and motion planning for constrained dynamical systems\nExperience in linear and non-linear flight dynamic models development by using System ID tools and methods\nExperience in developing the other subsystem dynamic models, such as actuators, sensors, etc in accordance with the need of GNC activities\nExperience working as part of a team that has transitioned to production automation solutions for complex dynamic systems\nFamiliarity with FAR Part 23/25/27/29, ARP 4761/4754A, DO-178 and other aerospace regulations/processes/standards\nWHY SKYRYSE?\nThe opportunity to change the world through improving aviation safety and accessibility \nSalary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 depending on experience\nValuable stock option plan\nHeavily subsidized medical, dental and vision plans\nFull-time employees are eligible for 20 days of paid time off (PTO) and 5 sick days annually.
