Our technology, combined with our commitment to saving lives and our passion for aviation, will empower everyone to experience the joy and freedom of flight.\nSENSOR INTEGRATION ENGINEER - CAMARILLO, CA\n As a Sensor Integration Engineer at Skyryse, you’ll take a hands-on role in developing, testing, installing, and integrating a broad range of advanced sensors for next-generation programs.\nThis is a full-time onsite opportunity based out of Camarillo, CA. \nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupport the development of test campaigns using rapid prototyping equipment such as dSpace, Speedgoat, LabView, or similar\nWork within MATLAB / SIMULINK to model various sensors including IMUs, Altimeters, and more\nSupport integration procedures as defined by a vendor or stakeholder\nTroubleshoot common communication protocols including RS-232, CAN, UDP, etc. \nTroubleshoot common hardware integration issues\nAttend internal program, customer and/or supplier technical exchange meetings and/or formal program milestone reviews to provide and/or obtain progress status updates\nAssist with electrical design and/or software implementation for sensor-related technology development/integration\nCreate release drawings and schematics for installed component\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related disciplines.\n2+ years of professional working experience\nFamiliarity with dSpace, SpeedGoat, LabView Equipment or equivalent\nFamiliarity with MATLAB and SIMULINK or equivalent\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nMaster of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related disciplines\nProduct Launch/ Full Lifecycle experience\nPrior start up working experience\n5+ years of professional working experience\nFamiliarity with DO-178C, DO-254, DO-331, and other FAA compliance requirement\nWHY SKYRYSE?\nThe opportunity to change the world through improving aviation safety and accessibility \nSalary: $140,000 - $180,000\nValuable stock option plan\nHeavily subsidized medical, dental and vision plans\nFull-time employees are eligible for 20 days of paid time off (PTO) and 5 sick days annually.
