This includes fostering a hosting network, representing the Hosting Group in various \"Trains\" (Agile teams), and coordinating technical architecture decisions related to hosting.\n\nEnsure Reliability: Champion the reliability of our systems through platform expertise, proactive monitoring, and efficient resolution of any issues that arise.\n\nAutomate Everything: Drive automation, including Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management, to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.\n\nOptimize Costs: Monitor and report on hosting costs, actively defining and tracking cost optimization actions with stakeholders.\n\nOptimize Efficiency: By contributing to the make or buy trade-offs and onboarding of any recurring activities to contractors.\n\nChampion Best Practices: Promote and ensure the appropriate use of cloud operational best practices, maintaining security compliance and preventing cost overruns.\n\nInnovate and Explore: Lead technological watch, managing our Hosting Tech Radar, investigating new AWS offerings, and experimenting with emerging solutions to host Skywise future innovations.\n\nProblem Solve: Participate in root cause investigations, recommending and implementing permanent, long-term fixes to complex issues.\n\nEmpower Development: Deliver a resilient and highly-scalable platform for global application development, with a strong focus on continuous delivery and operational insight.\n\nConsult and Modernize: Provide expert consultation on converting existing legacy applications to run on our cutting-edge deployment platforms.\n\nMust-Haves:\n7+ years of experience in the Industrial IT field.\n\nDeep Public-Cloud Expertise: Solid experience in designing and building secure solutions within Public-Cloud (preferably AWS).\n\nAutomation Prowess: Proven experience in scripting and automating infrastructure, reducing manual toil. (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins)\n\nPublic-Cloud Certification: At least one Public-Cloud Associate Certification is required; additional certifications are a significant asset. (AWS Solution Architect Associate - or similar)\n\nNetworking Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of networking principles for enterprise environments.\n\nProblem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify root causes of issues and recommend effective, long-term solutions.\n\nTroubleshooting Excellence: Proven ability to perform complex troubleshooting in Public-CLoud environments and provide expert guidance to other teams.\n\nCommunication & Collaboration: A proactive, confident self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effective collaboration across teams.\n\nAdditional Skills (an asset): Working knowledge of networking, shell scripting, databases, DNS, XML.\n\nStakeholders Management: Experience internal and external stakeholders management.
