The Body Systems intern will be responsible for supporting the development of the body in white and related structures across the organization.\n| WHAT YOU GET TO DO\nBe an integral part of an energetic team that’s challenging the status quo of vehicle design.\nResponsible for the design and development of body system components and complete assemblies.\nDevelop and implement functional objectives to meet project performance targets.\nManage all aspects of body component development to meet project requirements including performance, cost, mass, timing, manufacturability, etc.\nLead collaboration between internal/external teams and suppliers to meet all project requirements.\n| WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related fieldMust be currently enrolled in an accredited degree program.\nMust have at least a 3.0 GPA.\nAvailable to work full-time (40 hours/week)\nExcellent communication and team building skills.\nAbility to contribute to design teams through integration of related sub-systems into body structure.\nAbility and Desire work in a fun and fast-paced environment\nWHY JOIN TEAM SLATE?\nAt Slate, we’re fueled by grit, determination, and attention to detail.
