The spirit of DIY and customization runs throughout every element of a Slate, because people should have control over how their trucks look, feel, and represent them.\nWHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR\nThe IT Systems Administrator is responsible for administering and improving enterprise identity, endpoint management, and core IT systems. This role focuses on Azure/Entra ID administration, Microsoft Intune device management, and SSO enhancements to strengthen security, reliability, and end-user experience. The Systems Administrator also supports asset and software lifecycle management, handles escalations from the service desk, and drives continuous improvements across IT operations.\nWHAT YOU GET TO DO\nIdentity, Access, and SSO\nAdminister and support Microsoft Azure and Entra ID (Azure AD), including users, groups, roles, conditional access, and authentication policies.\nDesign, implement, and enhance Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations with SaaS and internal applications (SAML/OIDC), including troubleshooting authentication issues.\nMaintain and improve identity governance practices (access reviews, lifecycle processes, and role-based access controls).\nPartner with Security and Compliance teams to enforce MFA, least privilege, and secure access standards.\nEndpoint & Device Management (Intune)\nManage and maintain Microsoft Intune for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices (as applicable).\nCreate and manage device configuration profiles, compliance policies, security baselines, and application deployment policies.\nSupport device provisioning workflows (Autopilot or equivalent), enrollment, remote wipe/retire, and device health reporting.\nTroubleshoot complex endpoint issues and support escalations from the service desk.\nAsset and Software Lifecycle Management\nOwn IT asset lifecycle processes (procurement intake, inventory, assignment, refresh, returns, disposal, and audit readiness).\nMaintain accurate hardware and software inventory records; ensure license compliance and cost optimization.\nPackage, deploy, and maintain software applications; manage versioning, updates, and deprecations.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to standardize device/software offerings and streamline request fulfillment.\nOperational Support & Escalations\nServe as an escalation point for complex tickets involving identity, SSO, endpoint configuration, and enterprise SaaS platforms.\nAnalyze trends in incident/request data to identify root cause, eliminate repeat issues, and improve reliability.\nDevelop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles to improve support outcomes and self-service.\nContinuous Improvement & Automation\nIdentify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks (provisioning, access changes, device actions, and reporting).\nImprove service delivery through process optimization, monitoring, and reporting of key operational metrics.\nParticipate in change management processes, including testing, rollout planning, and communication.\nWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of experience in IT systems administration, endpoint management, or identity/access management.\nStrong hands-on experience with Azure/Entra ID administration and Microsoft Intune.\nExperience implementing and supporting SSO integrations (SAML, OIDC/OAuth2).\nWorking knowledge of device compliance/security controls and endpoint troubleshooting.\nExperience with asset management and software deployment/lifecycle processes.\nFamiliarity with ITSM/ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management, ServiceNow) and escalation workflows.\nStrong documentation skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Conditional Access best practices.\nScripting/automation experience (PowerShell; Power Automate or similar).\nExperience supporting hybrid environments (on-prem AD + Entra ID), Intune + co-management scenarios, or MDM for macOS.\nKnowledge of security frameworks and practices (least privilege, MFA, access governance, audit controls).\nWork Authorization Requirement:\nApplicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
