This role collaborates closely with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives, enhance employee engagement, and drive organizational performance. The HRBP provides comprehensive HR support across employee relations, talent management, performance management, and compliance, while acting as a trusted advisor and change agent. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship at this time.\n| WHAT YOU GET TO DO:\nStrategic Partnership\nCollaborate with senior leaders to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support these objectives.\nProvide strategic HR advice and guidance to management on various HR matters, including workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.\nAct as a change agent, driving and managing organizational change initiatives.\nEmployee Relations\nFoster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.\nConduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.\nPromote employee engagement through various initiatives and programs.\nTalent Management\nSupport the talent acquisition process, ensuring the recruitment of high-quality candidates.\nPartner with Talent Management to develop and implement talent strategies, including succession planning, career development, and performance management.\nIdentify and address skill gaps within the organization, assist in facilitating training and development programs.\nPerformance Management\nSupport the performance appraisal process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback.\nAssist managers in addressing performance issues and developing improvement plans.\nRecognize and reward high-performing employees.\nCompliance and Risk Management\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.\nDevelop and enforce HR policies and procedures to maintain a compliant and safe workplace.\nIdentify and mitigate HR-related risks within the organization.\nHR Metrics and Reporting\nTrack and analyze HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs.\nPrepare and present reports on HR activities, including recruitment, retention, and employee engagement.\nUse data to inform HR strategies and decision-making.\nOrganizational Development\nSupport organizational development initiatives, including restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions.\nFacilitate change management processes to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption.\nPromote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.\n| WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.\nMinimum of 8-10 years of experience in human resources, with at least 5 years in a strategic HR role.\nStrong understanding of HR best practices and labor laws.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nProficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.\nStrong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.\nStrategic thinking and business acumen.\nWHY JOIN TEAM SLATE?\nAt Slate, we’re fueled by grit, determination, and attention to detail.
