This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across software development, cloud technologies, automation, DevOps, quality engineering, and Artificial Intelligence. As an intern, you will collaborate with engineers across the UK, US, and India and contribute to real projects that support the development, testing, delivery, and operation of industry-leading scientific and engineering software used worldwide.\nThroughout the internship, you will work on a variety of focused mini-projects, allowing you to explore different areas of software engineering while building practical skills in:\nSoftware development using Python, Java, C++, and scripting technologies.\n\nAutomation of testing, deployment, and delivery processes.\n\nCloud-native technologies and integrations with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.\n\nPerformance optimisation and reliability improvements for large-scale systems.\n\nModern DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.\n\nApplication monitoring, reporting, and quality metrics. Tasks will be selected according to business priorities and your interests and development goals.\nTypical responsibilities may include:\nDesigning and implementing automation solutions that improve software build, test, and release processes.\n\nDeveloping tools and services using Python, Java, C++, and scripting languages. Improving the robustness, performance, and reliability of engineering tools and workflows.
