Start yours now!\nIf you would like to know more, please visit our website at https://www.slb.com/\nJob Summary:\nData and Infrastructure Engineer responsibility is in two main aspects; First, responsible for organizing, collecting, processing, and storing of data from different sources and transforming raw, unstructured data into formats that can be used for analysis including architectures such as databases, servers, and large-scale processing systems. Second, responsible for the design, planning, management, maintenance, and support, and any other technological duties associated with an organization’s cloud computing environment including support of an application on any SLB supported cloud.\nOther Reports to:\nService Delivery Engineer - SIS (82720011) or D&I Solutions Delivery Manager (82940262)\nTasks and Responsibilities:\nManaging cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.\nAct as focal point for gathering system requirements from application architects and owners to ensure seamless transformation and loading of data across different cloud vendors such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.\nResponsible for Data loading, data migration, and data retrieval.\nBe customer advisor on data governance, policies, roles, and dataflow.\nResponsible for assembling large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements.\nPerform data mapping, data quality control for one to multiple data sources.\nRun assessment of a company data and infrastructure environment with proposed improvement and recommendations.\nWork with stakeholders including data, design, product and executive teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues.\nUse API knowledge to design RESTful services, and integrate them with existing data providers, using JSON or XML as needed.\nResponsible for maintaining existing company databases using experience; which includes a working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL, and related data stores such as Postgres.\nResopsible for debugging technical issues inside a complex stack involving virtualization, containers, microservices, etc.\nCollaborates with the engineering teams to enable digital applications to run on cloud infrastructure correctly, performantly and efficiently.\nResponsible for the deployment using container technologies: Docker and Kubernetes.\nGather/Keep experience working with OpenStack, Linux/UNIX, Rackspace, Docker and Microsoft Azure as applicable for the customer and Schlumberger implementation.\nResponsible for having a working knowledge of web services, APIs, REST and RPC.\nHandle incoming incidents change requests and problems as a first line of support.\nResponsible for operating, designing development, testing and implementing of infrastructure systems and hardware with automation in mind.\nResponsible for estimating project value/development plans, evaluating from an infrastructure point-of-view and maintain close liaison with the customer.\nResponsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation on all activities.\nParticipates in out-of-office on-call rotation as required.\nResponsible for installing and configuring IOT Agora solutions including Infrastructure, network setup & SDK Implementation.\nMaintains and supporting existing on-premises applications from licensing, installation, and configuration if applicable.\nResponsible for gather/developing experience working on OSDU community code and Schlumberger Enterprise Data Management (EDM) workflows.\nQualifications and Experience:\nFull Australian working rights.\nBachelors or Masters of Engineering, Software Engineering/ Data Science is preferrable\nSLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
