This role focuses on two main areas: managing and transforming data from multiple sources into structured formats for analysis, and designing, supporting, and maintaining cloud computing environments. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cloud technologies, data infrastructure, and digital solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nData Management:\nOrganize, collect, process, and store data from multiple sources\n\nTransform raw, unstructured data into usable formats for analysis\n\nPerform data mapping and quality control across one or more data sources\n\nAssemble large, complex datasets meeting business requirements\n\nSupport data loading, migration, and retrieval tasks\n\nAdvise on data governance, policies, roles, and dataflow\n\nAssess company data and infrastructure environments and propose improvements\n\nWork with stakeholders including data, design, product, and executive teams to resolve data-related technical issues\n\nInfrastructure & Cloud Support:\nDesign, plan, manage, maintain, and support cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)\n\nCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure digital applications run efficiently on cloud infrastructure\n\nDeploy applications using container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes\n\nMaintain existing databases (SQL, NoSQL, Postgres) and related infrastructure\n\nDebug technical issues in complex stacks involving virtualization, containers, and microservices\n\nUse API knowledge to design RESTful services and integrate them with existing data providers\n\nOperate, develop, test, and implement infrastructure systems and hardware with automation in mind\n\nInstall and configure IoT Agora solutions, including network setup and SDK implementation\n\nSupport on-premises applications, including licensing, installation, and configuration\n\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on all activities\n\nParticipate in out-of-office on-call rotations as required\n\nGain experience with OpenStack, Linux/UNIX, Rackspace, Docker, and Microsoft Azure\n\nWork with OSDU community code and Schlumberger Enterprise Data Management (EDM) workflows\n\nWhat We Offer\nHands-on experience with cloud computing, data infrastructure, and digital applications\n\nMentoring from experienced engineers and IT specialists\n\nExposure to real-world projects and customer-facing tasks\n\nCareer development opportunities in data engineering and cloud technologies\n\nCollaborative and supportive work environment\n\nQualifications & Experience\nEngineering degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Cloud Computing, or related field\n\nBasic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, containers, and data management\n\nFamiliarity with SQL, NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux/UNIX environments is a plus\n\nAnalytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills\n\nGood communication and teamwork abilities\n\nMotivation to learn and grow in data and infrastructure engineering\n\nSLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
