Understand the as-sold engineering scope of supply and communicate that to the engineering functions on the project.\nWork closely with the Client’s engineering leads and act as the technical point of contact.\nEnsure the project is being executed in accordance with Cameron’s SLB’s Practices, Procedures and Work Instructions.\nGenerate and develop the project engineering scope of work and execution plans.\nDevelop the work share execution plan with other offices.\nSubcontract specialist engineering activities to outsourced companies as required.\nProvide project hour estimating, planning, and forecasting for all engineering functions.\nReview, approve and control hours on a project.\nCoordinate and facilitate design reviews.\nManage engineering change management and generate MOCs as required.\nWrite technical fabrication contracts and manage the technical aspects of the contract.\nSupport proposals, sales, projects and aftermarket departments/activities as required.\nWork closely with project managers and planner to develop the Project Schedule.\nProvide input to the Lessons Learned process and utilize findings from the process to update tools and processes.\nAs required, visit global fabricators during pre-award, manufacture, and factory acceptance testing.\nInitiate Technical clarification/deviations for submission to client during project execution stage\nPlan and monitor engineering deliverables for submission within the required schedule.\nPrepare/coordinate in deliverables preparation such as Equipment list, Master Document List, Weight control report and other deliverables which involved inter-discipline coordination.\nAttend bid clarification meetings, kick off meetings and design review meetings.\nCheck and approve the work of others as required.\nProvide coaching and mentoring of more junior engineers within the department.\nReviewing project specifications and incorporating requirements into Client design and equipment / procurement specifications.\nRepresent the engineering in working with the Project Manager (PM) and the Supply Chain to manage and steer the project toward successful completion throughout all phases of the project including engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning/start-up; while complying to company standards, project requirements, and applicable codes.\nLiaise with third party agencies as required to ensure projects are executed in accordance with contractual requirements.\nEP\nSLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
