The intern will assist in ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained working environment while completing assigned projects aligned with business needs.\nKey Responsibilities:\nFacilities Operations Support\nAssist in the monitoring and maintenance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection)\nSupport routine inspections and facility audits to ensure operational readiness\nTrack maintenance requests and follow up on completion status\nContractor & Service Coordination\nAssist in coordinating contractors (cleaning, security, maintenance, pest control, etc.)\nMonitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to scope and safety requirements\nSupport documentation such as permits, service reports, and work orders\nHealth, Safety & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with HSE standards, policies, and procedures\nParticipate in safety inspections, risk assessments, and corrective actions\nSupport implementation of safety initiatives (e.g., fire drills, emergency readiness)\nProjects & Continuous Improvement\nAssist in small facility upgrades, renovations, or improvement initiatives\nSupport planning and execution of facility-related projects (e.g., office setup, storage optimization)\nApply basic continuous improvement principles to enhance efficiency\nAdministrative & Reporting\nMaintain facility records (asset lists, inspection logs, maintenance schedules)\nPrepare reports, presentations, and tracking logs for facility activities\nAssist with budgeting inputs and cost tracking (if applicable)\nLearning & Development\nGain hands-on exposure to facility management systems and processes\nComplete at least one assigned project or improvement initiative\nQualifications & Requirements:\nCurrently pursuing or recently completed an Bachalor degree / Associate degree or Technician Diploma in:Facilities Management\nEngineering (Civil, mechanical, electrical)\nOccupational Health & Safety or related field\n\nNo prior experience required, but strong interest in facilities or operations is preferred.\nSkills & Competencies:\nStrong organizational and coordination skills\nGood communication and teamwork abilities\nBasic technical understanding of building systems (preferred)\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nAbility to work independently and follow instructions\nAttention to detail and safety mindset\nSLB offers equal employment opportunity.
