The Field Engineer Trainee identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manage, risk during service delivery.\nYou will be based in Aberdeen and work primarily offshore on a rotational basis (three weeks on, one week off; 12-hour shifts). The role combines computer-based data analysis with physical rig-floor activities, including supporting rig-up and rig-down operations, equipment checks, troubleshooting, and client interaction. You will learn the business from the ground up and become a skilled and confident specialist in the sector.\nEssential Responsibilities and Duties\nDuring the training program, your responsibilities will include:\nEnsure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.\n\nExecute safe and efficient service delivery to the customer, including well logging and log quality control.\n\nOversee and support rig-up and rig-down operations, equipment and tool function checks, and equipment removal.\n\nParticipate in pre-tour meetings, permit-to-work activities, handovers, and job risk analysis.\n\nTroubleshoot equipment and operational issues as they arise.\n\nCommunicate effectively with clients and internal teams, providing clear reporting and updates.\n\nDevelop customer contacts to promote company products and services.\n\nEnsure company and regulatory standard compliance by implementing the Compliance Assessment Tool (CAT), self-assessments, and wellsite inspections.\n\nParticipate in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and Quality initiatives, including continual improvement programs.\n\nMaintain the required safety and offshore certifications, wear PPE, and observe all HSE policies at all times\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering.
