The job consults with operations groups as needed to support the area of expertise and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement of product and service delivery and formally communicates findings. The Geologist actively participates in promoting new technology and services offerings and supports the PL in risk management and applying lessons learned to improve job design and execution as related to the area of expertise. They provide real-time support to operations as required.\nResposibilities:\n• Strong knowledge of Geology and geophysics and must have experienced with Geomodelling workflows and able to execute the work independently.Must have been involved in several technical projects both onshore & offshore oil & gas fields.\nWorking knowledge of Structural, Property Modeling & uncertainty analysis workflows\nShould be able to do prospect identification and de-risking, Proposing well locations.\nResource/Reserve calculation.\nWorking knowledge of Deterministic and Stochastic Modeling approaches.\nShould be able to integrate different domain information.\nManages the sub-surface uncertainty through the anticipation of alternatives, quantifying exposure and maximizing reward.\nConsult with relevant subject matter experts as required to optimize the technical design.\nExperience in providing technical support throughout the service delivery process.\nPetrel Expertise Mandatory.\n\nProvide technical support in the area of expertise throughout the Sales and Product and Service Delivery process.\nAssist as required with the development of technical job designs for PLs.\nAssist with identifying areas where new and cost effective techniques can be applied.\nExplore opportunities for value-added products and services.\nConsult with Design/Technical Engineer role as required to optimize the technical design.\nAssist in real-time incident response, recovery, and investigation as related to the area of expertise.\nAssist in evaluating technical viability and overall appraisal of tenders as related to the area of expertise.\nRemain current on new technologies.\nMaintain customer visibility through active participation in professional society activities and calls for papers.\nUnderstand the competition’s technical offering.\nParticipate in external technical societies and communities.\nContribute, write and review technical publications.\nEngage with local universities, Customer institutes and research organizations.\nLocation of assignment: Navi Mumbai\nReporting to Team Lead\nBehavior:\nCustomer focused; communicates effectively with stakeholders; promotes good client relations on a social and professional level with strong oral and written communication skills; able to confidently facilitate meetings.\nPractices effective listening techniques.\nStrong drive to seek alignment.\nStrong Team Player & ready for traveling and client-facing roles. \nLeads by example and always acts professionally.\nExperience and Education Qualification:\nMaster Of Science, M.
