As a Marketing and Communications Intern, you will support the team by drafting and coordinating internal communications, creating and updating on-brand marketing materials, and assisting with the planning and delivery of internal and external events to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.\nRoles and Responsibilities:\nDraft and distribute internal event invitations, announcements, and employee updates.\nSupport communication needs for all bases and offices, ensuring messages are clear, consistent, and tailored to local requirements.\nAssist with content for newsletters, intranet posts, and internal campaigns.\nMaintain communication calendars and coordinate timely delivery of internal messages.\nSupport logistics for internal events, including RSVPs, venue coordination, and preparation of materials.\nContribute to employee engagement initiatives and company-wide events.\nCreate and update marketing materials such as slides, brochures, flyers, invites, and digital assets.\nAssist in designing and formatting promotional content for internal and external audiences.\nPrepare branded materials for presentations, briefings, and stakeholder engagement.\nEnsure all marketing collateral aligns with organisational brand guidelines.\nSupport the creation of multimedia content, including videos, photography, and digital communications.\nSupport the organisation and maintenance of marketing assets and communication resources. \nCoordinate logistics for external events, including industry showcases, university engagements, and community activities.\nSupport external communication channels (social media, website updates, partner communications) to maintain consistent brand representation.\nConduct basic market or audience research to support event planning and marketing strategy.\nSupport post-event reporting, including participant feedback, engagement metrics, and recommendations for improvement.\nQualifications and Experience:\nFull Australian working rights.\nCurrently studying Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.\nStrong written communication skills with attention to detail.\nIntermediate design skills (PowerPoint, Canva, or similar tools) preferred.\nComfortable engaging with stakeholders across different bases and offices.\nCreative mindset with an interest in content creation, branding, and digital communications. \nSLB is an equal opportunity employer.
