Together, we achieve more.\nJob Summary\nThe Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, support, monitoring, and optimization of enterprise WAN, LAN, and Wireless network services across global locations. The role ensures secure, reliable, and high - performance connectivity for business operations while supporting network transformation initiatives, SD - WAN deployments, wireless modernization, network automation, and operational excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nWAN ServicesManage and support enterprise WAN infrastructure, including SD - WAN, MPLS, Internet, and ISP connectivity.\nMonitor WAN performance and ensure service availability against defined SLAs.\nTroubleshoot network incidents and perform root cause analysis for connectivity issues.\nCollaborate with Geounit IT team to coordinate telecommunications providers and vendors for circuit provisioning, upgrades, and fault resolution.\nSupport network migration, optimization, and transformation projects.\nEvaluate and implement new WAN technologies and connectivity solutions.\nLead the planning, design, and deployment of office WAN solutions to ensure scalable capacity, high availability, and cost efficiency.\n\nLAN ServicesAdminister and support campus and data center switching infrastructure.\nConfigure and maintain VLANs, routing protocols, QoS policies, and network segmentation.\nPerform LAN capacity planning and hardware lifecycle management.\nSupport network refresh, expansion, and standardization initiatives.\nEnsure adherence to network architecture and security standards.\nMaintain accurate network documentation and diagrams.\n\nWireless ServicesManage enterprise wireless infrastructure, including controllers, access points, and management platforms.\nPerform wireless site surveys and capacity assessments.\nDesign and optimize wireless coverage, performance, and roaming capabilities.\nSupport Guest, BYOD, IoT, and corporate wireless services.\nTroubleshoot wireless connectivity issues and implement corrective actions.\nEnsure wireless security standards are maintained and enforced.\n\nOperations & SupportProvide \"Follow the Sun\" Level 3 technical support for network services.\nParticipate in incidents, problems, and change management processes.\nSupport planned maintenance, upgrades, and emergency network changes.\nDevelop and maintain operational procedures and technical documentation.\nParticipate in on - call support and major incident resolution as required.\n\nSecurity & ComplianceImplement network security best practices.\nSupport firewall, NAC, and segmentation.\nEnsure compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.\nParticipate in security assessments and Vulnerability remediation activities.\n\nAutomation & Continuous ImprovementSupport network automation initiatives using APIs, scripting, and orchestration tools.\nIdentify opportunities for operational efficiency and service improvement.\nParticipate in technology evaluations and proof-of-concept activities.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related discipline.\n5+ years of experience supporting enterprise WAN, LAN, and Wireless environments.\nStrong knowledge of:SD - WAN technologies (Versa, Cisco SD - WAN, or equivalent)\nRouting and switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, HSRP)\nWireless networking (Cisco Wireless, Catalyst Center, WLAN design)\nTCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, QoS, IPv4/IPv6\nNetwork monitoring and troubleshooting tools\n\nExperience working with global service providers and vendors.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCisco certifications ( CCNA and CCNP Enterprise required; CCIE will be an added advantage ).\nExperience with:Cisco Catalyst Center\nNetwork automation (Python, Ansible, APIs)\nCloud networking (Azure, AWS)\nNetwork security technologies\nData center networking\n\nFamiliarity with ITIL processes and service management.\nKey Competencies\nStrong analytical and problem -solving skills.\nEffective communication and stakeholder management.\nAbility to work in a global, multi - functional environment.\nCustomer - focused mindset.\nProject management and change management experience.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast - paced operational environment.\nWhat we can offer:\nWork from home allowance;\nBookster - for book lovers;\nWe work hybrid, 2 days at the office and 3 days at home;\nMeal tickets;\nPrivate medical subscription - GOLD package;\nLife insurance;\nCompany events, great office location;\nA culture that fosters inclusion, diversity, and innovation;\nMarket-specific training and ongoing personal development;\nCareer growth opportunities both national and international;\nExperienced leaders to support your professional development;\nInternational work environment;\nSLB is an equal opportunity employer.
