The job consults with operations groups as needed to support the area of expertise and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement of product and service delivery and formally communicates findings. The Petrophysicist actively participates in promoting new technology and services offerings and supports the business line in risk management and applying lessons learned to improve job design and execution as related to the area of expertise. They provide real-time support to operations as required.\nKey responsibilities:\nAnalyze and interpret well log data,core samples, and other petrophysical data to determine reservoir properties such as porosity, permeability, saturation, lithology.\nUtilize advanced petrophysical software and techniques to process, analyze, and interpret logging and core data.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support reservoir characterization, development planning, and production optimization\nParticipate in the design and implementation of logging programs and ensure quality control of acquired data.\nStay updated with the latest advancements in petrophysical techniques, technologies, and industry best practices.\nProvide technical support in the area of expertise throughout the Sales and Product and Service Delivery process.\nAssist as required with the development of technical job designs for business line.\nAssist with identifying areas where new and cost effective techniques can be applied.\nExplore opportunities for value-added products and services.\nConsult with Design/Technical Engineer role as required to optimize the technical design.\nAssist in real-time incident response, recovery, and investigation as related to the area of expertise.\nAssist in evaluating technical viability and overall appraisal of tenders as related to the area of expertise.\nRemain current on new technologies.\nMaintain customer visibility through active participation in professional society activities and calls for papers.\nUnderstand the competition’s technical offering.\nParticipate in external technical societies and communities.\nContribute, write and review technical publications.\nEngage with local universities, Customer institutes and research organizations.\nAdditional Requirement Experience required:\nApply the latest technology and efficient workflows to generate petrophysical work processes.\nFollow up well operations, propose and provide technical advice on data acquisition, coring, and testing operations.\nDesigning, supervising and evaluating data acquisition programs.\nEvaluate and normalize field wide petrophysical data.\nTrain, mentor and develop the young professionals on relevant skills.\nEnsuring optimal design and suitable technologies are selected for data acquisition.\nConsult with relevant subject matter experts as required to optimize the technical design.\nExperience in providing technical support throughout the service delivery process.\nBehavior:\nCustomer focused; communicates effectively with stakeholders; promotes good client relations on a social and professional level with strong oral and written communication skills; able to confidently facilitate meetings.\nPractices effective listening techniques.\nStrong drive to seek alignment.\nStrong Team Player & ready for traveling and client-facing roles. \nLeads by example and always acts professionally.\nJob location:\nNavi Mumbai, India\nRelationships:\nReports to the Geoscience Team Lead\nEducational qualifications: Master Of Science, Master.
