It supports SLB through innovative engineering and quality-driven manufacturing, with portfolio emphasis on rotary steerable systems, Measurement While Drilling tools, Specialised Measurement tools and Rechargeable Batteries for Downhole use, and power source products. Over 400 employees work in SHTC's modern, fit-for-purpose building in scenic Gloucestershire.\nThe facility was constructed to handle future demand for PowerDrive tools with an efficient workflow that ensures assembled tools are extensively and rigorously tested before delivery. On site, tools can be monitored using state of-the-art hardware and connectivity that link SHTC to all field locations. As a Product Quality Intern, you will be at the forefront of identifying and eliminating these challenges.\nResponsibilities:\nAs a Quality Intern, you will be at the forefront of identifying and eliminating these problems. Areas you could be involved with:\nComprehensive Investigations: Conduct detailed investigations into product failures, providing exposure to cutting-edge technology and a multi-disciplinary approach to engineering\n\nCustomized Assignments: We will select investigations based on your technical interests and preferences, allowing you to define your areas of interest.\n\nStakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to implement effective solutions and improvements\n\nSupport supplier quality efforts by analysing supplier performance data and working on quality improvement plans with suppliers who don't meet our expectations\n\nFinal Reports: Prepare and present comprehensive reports on each investigation to management\n\nRequirements :\nStudying a Master’s degree - (Penultimate or Final year) in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Materials/Metallurgy, Quality or Manufacturing/Process Engineering or a related discipline\n\nOral and written communication skills in English\n\nGood motivation, autonomy, teamwork, and ingenuity\n\nSLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
