In daily work of the Reservoir engineer, he/she will be interacting with the client representatives, Manager, Service Delivery team leads, RE team leader in aligning the definition and prioritization of the requirements. He/she will also be working with the other domain PTEs to define the customer problem, define the solution, explain the uniqueness of the solution. Extensive experience in reservoir simulation is must for the described position.\nExperience required:\nExperience in Exploration, appraisal & (or) Development fields as Reservoir Engineer\nA demonstrable ability in planning, organizing and execution of studies/projects is required\nPerform classical reservoir engineering studies\nExperience with PVT and fluid modelling, SCAL data interpretation\nExperience with Well Test design, interpretation, and analysis- Pressure & Rate transient analysis\nUsing advanced numerical simulation techniques/ dynamic modelling methods to forecast oil and gas production\nCollaborating with other technical professionals (geophysicists, geologists and Petro-physicists) in devising economically viable development plan\nOptimizing recovery plans, including new well locations or projects involving enhanced recovery methods\nDeveloping and executing data-gathering plans and using the results to develop projects to increase recovery efficiency.\nManages the sub-surface uncertainty through the anticipation of alternatives, quantifying exposure and maximizing reward.\nConsult with relevant subject matter experts as required to optimize the technical design.\nExperience in providing technical support throughout the service delivery process.\nExperience in Petrel-RE, Eclipse/ IX is must\nCareer progression:\nAs per SLB standard career progression process\nBehaviour:\nCustomer focused; communicates effectively with stakeholders; promotes good client relations on a social and professional level\nStrong oral and written communication skills; able to confidently facilitate meetings\nAble to work under pressure\nPractices effective listening techniques\nStrong drive to seek alignment\nLeads by example and acts professionally at all times\nJob location: \nNavi Mumbai\nEducational qualifications:\nBachelor’s/ master’s degree in petroleum engineering with working experience of 8-12 years as Reservoir Engineer, with E&P/ Service industry\nEducational qualifications and Experience:\nBachelor’s/ master’s degree in petroleum engineering with working experience of 8-12 years as Reservoir Engineer, with E&P/ Service industry\nSLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
