The role partners with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver cost efficiencies, ensure procurement compliance, enhance supplier performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.\nResponsibilities\nLead sourcing projects by understanding business requirements, developing sourcing strategies, evaluating suppliers, and negotiating competitive commercial terms.\nIdentify and deliver cost optimization opportunities through competitive bidding, supplier rationalization, demand consolidation, and total cost analysis.\nEnsure sourcing activities comply with procurement policies, approval matrices, governance requirements, and audit standards.\nDevelop and manage supplier relationships, including supplier identification, onboarding, performance monitoring, and risk mitigation.\nCoordinate the initiation, negotiation, execution, and maintenance of supplier contracts in collaboration with internal stakeholders and Legal teams.\nLeverage SAP and Power BI insights to analyse procurement data, identify sourcing opportunities, and improve purchasing effectiveness.\nDrive catalogue development and touchless purchasing initiatives to increase efficiency, standardization, and user adoption.\nAct as the primary sourcing interface for assigned functions, partnering with Procurement, Finance, Legal, HR, IT, Facilities, and suppliers to resolve commercial and operational issues.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing sourcing processes, strengthening supplier competitiveness, and improving procurement governance and operational efficiency.\nLocation of Assignment- Navi Mumbai\nReporting To- Country Sourcing Manager\nBachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering from a reputed institution; qualification in Business Administration will be an added advantage.\n4-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and commercial negotiations.\nHands-on experience with SAP procurement transactions and data analysis tools such as Power BI.\nStrong analytical, stakeholder management, negotiation, contract management, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple sourcing projects while working effectively across cross-functional teams.\nSLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
