This position will remain open until filled and may close at any time without notice.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLeads and directs fire prevention programs with full accountability for outcomes. Supervises and provides development opportunities for assigned personnel.\nDevelops and implements community risk reduction strategies. Establishes program goals and performance metrics.\nManages budget planning and resource allocation.\nServes as technical authority on fire protection regulations.\nReviews and approves construction plans for code compliance.\nConducts complex fire code inspections of existing structures and construction sites.\nRecommends new code adoptions and policy updates. Manages permit issuance program and compliance strategies.\nBuild partnerships with stakeholders and professional organizations. Serves as liaison with developers, contractors, and community groups.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nEducation and Experience: Associate degree or equivalent in Fire Science, Fire Protection Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field.
