This role partners with business leaders and employees to deliver responsive, accurate, and compliant HR services while supporting organizational initiatives and employee engagement.Responsibilities\nEmployee Lifecycle Administration\nProcess employee transactions including hires, promotions, lateral moves, transfers, and terminations.\nPrepare employment letters, payroll documentation, benefits paperwork, disability documentation, and related employee communications.\nMaintain accurate employee records and personnel files in accordance with company policies and legislative requirements.\nCoordinate employment-related updates with payroll and other internal stakeholders.\nHR Systems & Data Management\nAdminister employee data within HR systems, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.\nManage employee information and resolve data discrepancies within Workday, Dayforce, and other HR platforms.\nSupport HR audits, reporting requirements, and data integrity initiatives.\nProvide front line troubleshooting support for Workday and Dayforce users.\nBenefits, Disability & Payroll Support\nAdminister employee benefits and retirement savings programs.\nCoordinate non-occupational disability claims and support return to work planning.\nRespond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, disability programs, payroll, vacation entitlements, and related policies.\nEscalate complex issues to Shared Services or appropriate subject matter experts as required.\nRecruitment & Onboarding\nSupport recruitment activities including interview participation and new hire onboarding.\nEmployee Relations & HR Advisory\nProvide guidance to leaders and employees on employee and labour relations matters.\nSupport investigations, disciplinary processes, terminations, organizational changes, and exit interviews.\nEnsure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices.\nEscalate complex employee relations matters to HR leadership as required.\nTraining, Projects & Employee Support\nDeliver basic employee training and education sessions.\nCoordinate employee programs and engagement initiatives.\nParticipate in national HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with business leaders, employees, vendors, and HR colleagues.\nProvide administrative support to HR leadership as required.\nEnsure employees have appropriate access, credentials, and tools required to perform their roles.\n\nSkills and Qualifications (Required)\nPost-secondary education in Human Resources Management, Labour Relations, or a related field.\nMinimum 3 to 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.\nStrong knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies, and employee relations practices.\nExperience administering HR systems and employee records.\nStrong customer service orientation and commitment to supporting employees and leaders.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.\n\nSkills and Qualifications (Preferred)\nCHRP designation.\nExperience in a consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment.\nExperience with full-cycle recruitment.\nPayroll administration experience.\nExperience supporting disability management and return to work programs.\nExperience using Workday and Dayforce.\nWork Environment (Hybrid/Onsite)\nPrimarily office-based environment with regular interaction with employees, managers, and HR stakeholders.\nRequires balancing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining confidentiality.\nOccasional participation in onboarding sessions, training programs, recruitment activities, and special projects.\nPlease note - this is a contract position until April 2028; hybrid role minimum 3 days in office.\nThink you have what we need but your credentials don’t perfectly line up?
