As Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead maintenance operations, planning, and reliability initiatives while ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective plant performance through the leadership of a multi-disciplinary trades team.Responsibilities\nMaintenance Planning & Reliability\nProvide technical planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and cost control support for maintenance activities and projects.\nDevelop work sequences, labour requirements, and maintenance cost estimates.\nDevelop and maintain preventive maintenance programs and ensure maintenance schedules are executed effectively.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives, including proactive maintenance strategies and reliability-centered maintenance practices.\nOrganize and coordinate annual plant shutdown activities.\nLeadership & Team Management\nSupervise maintenance tradespeople and provide technical direction to a multi-disciplinary team, including Millwrights and Electricians.\nCoach, motivate, and support employees to drive engagement, performance, and operational excellence.\nIdentify maintenance challenges and recommend process improvements.\nPartner with maintenance planning and operational teams to support plant improvements and maintenance execution.\nSafety, Quality & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with all health and safety, food safety, environmental, and quality standards.\nLead departmental safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture throughout the facility.\nEnsure contractors comply with all site safety requirements.\n Support the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) by promoting awareness, competency, compliance, and continuous improvement.\nOperations, Budget & Project Support\nTrack and support annual maintenance budgets, including labour, production equipment, utilities, property, and building maintenance costs.\nSupport capital expenditure project installations and maintenance-related initiatives.\nEnsure parts, materials, and external services are available to support operational requirements.\nBuild effective relationships with contractors, equipment manufacturers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.\nAssist with material procurement as required.\nSupport operational targets across brewing, packaging, logistics, and facility operations through effective maintenance support.\nSkills and Qualifications (Required) \nValid trade license, engineering degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nMinimum 5 years of related maintenance experience.\nMinimum 2 years of supervisory experience leading multi-disciplinary trades teams within a unionized environment.\nExperience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.\nDemonstrated leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to build strong working relationships and work effectively across departments.\nCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.\nAbility to demonstrate values aligned with the organization. \nWork Environment (Hybrid/Onsite)\nThis is an Onsite position operating within a production environment. Occasional travel may be required.
