This role ensures production schedules are met safely, efficiently, and in alignment with quality and food safety standards. The supervisor plays a key role in fostering a safe, engaged, and high-performing team while driving continuous improvement initiativesResponsibilities\nPeople Leadership & Performance Management:\n\nSupervise and support a team of 6-25 employees, providing coaching, training, and performance management to drive engagement and productivity.\n\nIdentifytraining needs and partner with HR and leadership to deliver effective development plans.\n\nSafety & Compliance:\n\nMaintain a safe workplace through audits, toolbox talks, and team safety meetings.\n\nLead incident investigations and partner with Health & Safety to implement corrective actions and improvements.\n\nProduction & Operations Execution:\n\nCoordinate labour, materials, and equipment to achieve production schedules safely and on time.\n\nSupport operations across canning, bottling, kegging, sanitation, and repack to ensure efficiency and flexibility.\n\nQuality & Continuous Improvement:\n\nMonitor production to ensure adherence to quality standards and resolve issues with the Quality Assurance team.\n\nLead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and operational performance.\n\nEquipment Reliability & Collaboration:\n\nPartner with maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability using root cause analysis.\n\nCollaborate cross-functionally with brewing, warehouse, and maintenance to support seamless operations.\n\nSkills and Qualifications (Required)\nMinimum 5 years of manufacturing experience in a unionized environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role\n\nSecondary school diploma or equivalent\n\nStrong knowledge of quality assurance, food safety, and good manufacturing practices\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive employee engagement\n\nExperience in safety leadership, including audits, investigations, and compliance with regulations\n\nEffective communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to present and influence\n\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment\n\nProficiencyin Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with maintenance systems is an asset\n\nKnowledge of applicable occupational health and safety legislation\n\nWork Environment (Hybrid/Onsite)\nOnsite - This roleoperatesprimarily within a manufacturing environment, with approximately 80% of time spent on the production floor and 20% in an office setting.
