As a Retail Clerk, you will create exceptional customer experiences through retail, hospitality, and brewery tour operations while representing the Sleeman brand. Wage: starting at $22.67 per hour\n\nResponsibilities\nCustomer Experience & Sales\nDeliver exceptional front-line customer service to external customers and Sleeman employees through in-person, phone, and email interactions.\n\nProcess beer and merchandise sales accurately for internal and external customers while ensuring a positive customer experience.\n\nRespond to customer inquiries, provide product recommendations, and resolve customer concerns in a professional andtimelymanner.\n\nServe patrons in the taproom and patio while promoting responsible beverage service practices.\n\nRetail Operations & Inventory Management\nPerform opening and closing procedures,including tillbalancing and daily operational checks.\n\nMaintain inventory levels and merchandising standards for beer, apparel, glassware, promotional products, and other retail items.\n\nProcess customer purchases accurately andmaintaincash-handling controls.\n\nManage empties collection and reconciliation activitiesin accordance withestablished procedures.\n\nProduct Handling & Distribution\nAssistcustomers with loading cases of beer and kegs into vehicles whenrequired.\n\nComplete home beer deliveries through the Retail Outlet while delivering excellent customer service.\n\nSafely handle, move, and store products in support of retail operations.\n\nOperate low-lift equipment following training and certification requirements.\n\nSafety, Quality & Compliance\nAdhere to food safety requirements applicable to the role andreportnon-conformities.\n\nFollow Smart Serve,healthandsafety, andcompanypolicies and procedures.\n\nMaintain a clean, safe, and welcoming retail, taproom, patio, and tour environment for customers and employees.\n\nSkills and Qualifications (Required)\nMust be at least 19 years of age or older.\n\nStrong interpersonal and customer service skills with a commitment to deliveringa superiorcustomer experience.\n\nExcellent communication and public speaking skills.\n\nAbility to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n\nAbility tolift upto 160 lbs.\n\nValid Smart Serve Certificate.\n\nValid Class G driver'slicencewith a clean driving record.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.\n\nOne (1) year of cash-handling and key-holder experience, preferably within the food and beverage industry, is strongly preferred.\n\nPreviousretail and customer service experience is strongly preferred.\n\nDigital media experience is considered an asset.\n\nAbility tooperatelow-lift equipment; training and certification will be provided.\n\n Work Environment (Hybrid/Onsite)\nThis position isOnsite and requires regular interaction with customers in the retail store, taproom, patio, and brewery environment.
