This role ensures production and distribution requirements are met while optimizing resources and maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and customer service. The Supervisor plays a key role in driving continuous improvement and supporting a high-performance team environment.This position follows a rotating 2-week schedule that includes day, afternoon, and mid shifts.\nResponsibilities\n\nTeam Leadership & Operations:\nSupervise and coordinate daily activities of 6-30 warehouse employees to meet production and shipping schedules. \nLead daily crew meetings and provide performance feedback aligned with productivity and site metrics. \nInventory & Warehouse Management:\nCoordinate cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure inventory accuracy. \nMonitor order fulfillment, backorders, and overall inventory levels. \nShipping, Receiving & Logistics:\nOversee shipping/receiving schedules, carrier appointments, and material flow. \nEnsure equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs as required. \nSafety, Quality & Compliance:\nPromote a safe and healthy workplace by identifying and correcting hazards. \nSupport food safety practices and ensure adherence to operational procedures. \nLead incident investigations and implement corrective actions where required. \nPeople Management & Administration:\nCreate and manage employee schedules, attendance tracking, and timekeeping validation. \nSupport performance management, employee engagement, and disciplinary processes in collaboration with HR. \nSkills and Qualifications (Required)\nMinimum 5 years of warehousing, shipping/receiving, or transportation experience. \nMinimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience. \nSecondary school diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset. \nStrong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to present information effectively. \nExperience with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems (WMS); Oracle experience is an asset. \nDemonstrated ability to lead teams, manage performance, and foster employee engagement. \nWorking knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and regulations. \nForklift experience/certification is an asset. \nWork Environment (Hybrid/Onsite) \nOnsite - This role operates primarily in a warehouse/manufacturing environment (approximately 70%) with some office-based responsibilities (approximately 30%).\nThink you have what we need but your credentials don’t perfectly line up?
