The role involves mechanical design, CAD modeling, prototyping, and testing of mechanical systems. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and a practical approach to developing functional prototypes and solving engineering challenges.\n\nA self-driven engineer who enjoys designing, building, and testing mechanical systems. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a startup environment, taking ownership of engineering tasks, and contributing to product development from concept to prototype.\n\nResponsibilities: \nDesign and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and mechanisms using professional CAD software.\nCreate detailed 3D models, 2D engineering drawings, and assembly documentation.\nPerform basic engineering calculations and select suitable materials and mechanical components.\nDevelop prototypes using 3D printing and other manufacturing processes.\nAssemble, test, and troubleshoot mechanical systems and implement design improvements.\nWork with motors, actuators, gearboxes, bearings, and motion transmission components.\nApply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.\nCoordinate with electronics and controls teams for mechanical and electromechanical integration.\n\nRequirements: \nBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.\nProficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or equivalent CAD software.\nGood understanding of mechanical design, engineering fundamentals, materials, manufacturing processes, tolerances, and GD& T.\nKnowledge of mechanical components, including bearings, shafts, gears, actuators, gearboxes, and motion transmission systems.\nHands-on experience with 3D printing, including printer setup, bed leveling, calibration, slicer settings, material selection, and troubleshooting.\nAbility to design functional prototypes, perform mechanical assembly, and validate designs through testing and iterative improvements.\nUnderstanding of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, sheet-metal fabrication, and additive manufacturing.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to take mechanical designs from concept to working prototypes.\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \nExperience in robotics, industrial automation, or mechanical product development.\nFamiliarity with electromechanical systems and actuator integration.\nExperience with rapid prototyping and hands-on hardware development.\nSkills\n3D Printing, CAD, CATIA, Creo,
