This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership role where your work will have a direct impact on the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of our financial operations.\nHow You'll Make an Impact\nLead the day-to-day operational accounting activities that support our insurance business.\nOversee billing, collections, cash application, vendor payments, and related general ledger activity.\nManage operational aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.\nReview journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and income statement activity to help ensure accurate financial reporting.\nLead, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nConduct regular Progress and Growth conversations to support employee development and engagement.\nMaintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting (SOX/ICFR).\nPartner with internal and external auditors and support audit-related activities.\nAssist with statutory financial statements and regulatory reporting requirements.\nIdentify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and increase efficiency as the company continues to grow.\nCollaborate with leaders across Finance and other departments to support organizational objectives. \nWhat You'll Bring to the Team\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years leading and developing teams.\nProperty & Casualty insurance industry experience.\nStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.\nExperience supporting audits and operating within a SOX-compliant environment.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nExcellent communication skills and attention to detail.\nProficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel.\nCommitment to Slide's Core Values.\nWhat Slide Offers To You\nThe Slide Vibe - An opportunity to be a part of a fun and innovation-driven culture fueled by Passion, Purpose and Technology!
