You’ll partner closely with defense counsel, claims leadership, and internal teams to protect Slide’s interests and ensure timely, compliant outcomes.\nWhat You'll Do\nLitigation Representation & Strategy\nRepresent Slide as the corporate representative in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, pre-trials, and trials\nDefend, negotiate, and settle litigated claims\nSign interrogatory responses on behalf of the company\nWork closely with defense counsel, litigation examiners, and leadership on claim strategy\nClaims Oversight & Analysis\nMonitor assigned lawsuits and oversee timely disposition of litigated claims\nConduct coverage analysis based on policy language, facts, and allegations\nReview records and documentation to verify property damage and claim exposure\nIdentify risks, develop resolution strategies, and negotiate successful outcomes\nDocumentation, Compliance & Collaboration\nDocument all relevant activity in the claims management system\nMaintain effective diary management to ensure deadlines are met\nCommunicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders throughout the claim lifecycle\nSupport additional initiatives and duties as assigned\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required\nActive Florida 6-20 Insurance License required\n5+ years of first-party property claims adjusting experience\n3+ years of experience serving as a Corporate Representative (P&C preferred)\nStrong knowledge of Florida civil procedure, evidence rules, and P&C litigation\nExpertise in homeowners’ policies, coverage analysis, and litigation strategy\nProven negotiation, investigation, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to testify confidently in legal proceedings\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nHighly organized, self-directed, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment\nProficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)\nCommitment to living Slide’s Core Values\nWhat Slide Offers To You\nThe Slide Vibe - An opportunity to be a part of a fun and innovation-driven culture fueled by Passion, Purpose and Technology!
