The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, persuasive in writing and argument, and eager to leverage technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nFee Motion-Specific Responsibilities\nDrafting detailed and well-supported motions for attorneys’ fees in both California state and federal courts\nPreparing replies to oppositions with strong legal analysis and persuasive rebuttals\nArguing fee motions at hearings, including presenting lodestar justifications and addressing court inquiries\nApply statutory fee entitlement provisions, including requests for multipliers and enhancements\nWorking with the fee motion support team to collect time records, declarations, and documentation in support of executing assigned motions\nManaging and tracking a high-volume docket of deadlines and assignments within the fee motion department\nGeneral Litigation Responsibilities\nDraft fee motions and fee motion replies to oppositions\nAttend fee motion and general hearings in support of the firm\nArgue fee motions in court\nIndependently manage your own litigation caseload\nPerform other litigation-related duties and meet firm deadlines\nRequirements\nLicensed and in good standing with the California State Bar\n4+ years of litigation experience, with proven experience drafting and arguing attorneys’ fee motions\nDeep understanding of fee-shifting statutes, lodestar methodologies, and multiplier arguments\nExceptional writing, legal analysis, and oral advocacy skills\nStrong organizational skills, with the ability to juggle high-volume, deadline-driven matters\nCollaborative mindset and ability to function effectively as part of a team-oriented department\nComfortable with judges, opposing counsel, and internal staff interactions\nTech-savvy and confident using modern case management systems and billing tools\nPreferred Experience:\nExperience in consumer protection, Lemon Law, or complex civil litigation\nOral argument experience, particularly in motion or fee-related hearings\nBenefits\nWe’re committed to supporting the well-being and success of our team through a robust and thoughtfully designed benefits package, including:\n 401(k) with Employer Match -
