Program assignments will shift over time based on where the business requires delivery leadership - you may lead a single large, multi-quarter initiative or a portfolio of smaller related efforts. In all cases, the programs you own will be funded, executive-sponsored initiatives that advance our technology strategy, architectural direction, and/or company strategic plan. You will be expected to ramp quickly on new domains, establish the operating cadence and reporting for the programs you inherit, and transition mature programs into a sustainable business-as-usual state.\nHow will you contribute?\nHow will you contribute?\nUnderstands the system architecture within program domain. Knows how to make sure dependencies are not broken by development changes and that program systems are not broken by upstream changes. \nAble to consider the larger picture (e.g., efficiency, availability, operability, scalability, business goals, customer experience, etc.) and balance it against the needs of engineering teams who have to build, maintain and extend features for the life of the technology. Incorporates these requirements into project plans. \nSee's patterns and discovers solutions; makes connections to improve project/process efficiency. Knows what solutions exist elsewhere and how they can be connected. \nCan convey detailed technical knowledge (verbally, in writing, and via diagram) to engineering team(s) (Q. Why did we build X? What business goal does it solve?). \nKnows how to assess engineering practices for testing, triage and maintenance and work with manager(s) to establish the right methods for effective project delivery. \nMulti-disciplinary organizational skills with strong people and conflict management abilities.\nAnalytical, design, problem solving skills towards customer success.\nCommunication and collaboration skills.\nWhat will you bring?\nAs part of your project and program ownership, you know the larger business picture (i.e., customer experience, organization goals, opportunities, and/or problems) and you deeply understand the technical requirements of the solutions being built (i.e., architecture, dependency impacts, efficiency, performance, availability, operability, etc.). \nYou also take the time to understand the needs of engineers (who have to build, maintain, and extend features for the life of the system) to make appropriate trade-offs. \nYou remove blockers and impediments that impact the team.
