Job Purpose
The Network Auditor is responsible for conducting comprehensive audits of the company's telecommunications network infrastructure, processes, and systems to enhance and protect company value by providing objective assurance, advice, and insight. This role ensures compliance, security, efficiency, and optimal performance by identifying risks, control weaknesses, and opportunities for operational improvement across all network domains (e.g., Core, RAN, Transport, IT/OSS/BSS integration). And to assist management in strengthening the sound of internal control system, risk management and governance process.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan, scope, and execute risk-based operational, financial (if any), and technical audits of the telecom network environment by utilizing established audit methodologies and best practices.
- Develop detailed audit programs, checklists, and test procedures.
- Identify, document, and evaluate control weaknesses, operational inefficiencies, and potential risks to network integrity and service delivery.
- Assess the network's adherence to internal policies, industry standards, regulatory requirement and contractual obligation.
- Perform duties with an impartial, unbiased attitude, maintaining individual objectivity and avoiding conflicts of interest. And adherent to The International Audit Standard's Code of Ethics (Integrity, Objectivity, Confidentiality, and Competency) in all audit engagements.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large volumes of network data, performance metrics, configuration files, and financial records (if any) to identify anomalies and support audit findings.
- Prepare clear, concise, and objective audit reports detailing findings, root causes, and practical recommendations for remediation.
- Present audit results to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Track the implementation status of management's corrective actions and perform follow-up reviews to ensure timely and effective remediation of identified weaknesses.
- Proactively recommend improvements to network control frameworks, operational processes, and internal policies based on audit observations and alignment with industry best practices.
- Carrying out any ad hoc appraisals, inspections, investigations, examinations or reviews requested by the Board of Audit Committee, Group Internal Audit or Senior Management.
- Analyzing and following up both internal and external audit reports.
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor or/and Head of Internal Audit.
