Vehicle stock inventory will be based upon usage analysis within the operating market determined by the Material Planning Team. Consumed inventory will be replenished based upon identified / pre-determined economic min-max stocking levels. The Specialist will be accountable for the timely transaction of replenishment orders to / from the warehouse to the vehicle in addition to external established suppliers. Additionally, this position requires a strict alignment of inventory chain of custody, procedural transactions, and the performance of inventory validation policies within the business.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintain a clean, orderly, and organized warehouse of stock inventory as well as surplus project material. Surplus project material must be coordinated with the Supply Chain Manager.\nExcess vehicle returns process administration.\nWorking with Technicians to ensure a timely and accurate return of required components to suppliers for credit.\nConduct reviews and audits of warehouse and vehicle inventories to ensure that inventory is appropriately identified and stored.\nParticipates in projects related to inventory and purchase cost improvements.\nIndependently carries out replenishment activities with full consideration for the impact of those activities on customer and business stakeholder expectations.\nPromotes engagement and participation in overall materials management accountability. Acts as inventory is their personal wallet.\nThis position does require normal warehouse operations ergonomic capabilities including the ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, climb a ladder with the appropriate safety wear, drive a fork truck, and occasionally lift and carry up to 70 pounds.\nQualifications and Competencies\nEducation, Licenses Skills\nB.S in applicable field, or a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience\nAnalytical Reasoning - Has an understanding of analytical methodologies and the ability to utilize various statistical methodologies. Provides recommendations for business actions based on the conclusions drawn from analysis in a way that is meaningful to the business partner.\nProject Management - Capable of effectively managing projects with little to no guidance.\nSupply Chain Knowledge - Has some understanding of the role of each function in the Supply Chain and how their Key Performance Indicators support the needs of end customers.\nAnalyze Issues - Demonstrated results indicating knowledge of analyzing issues. Critically identifies an issue's scope and parameters while analyzing it from multiple perspectives. Determines the root causes as well as broad implications of issues. Integrates information and defines an array of alternatives. Applies a wide variety of analytical tools and processes (e.g. Six Sigma) on a regular basis to complete key projects and solve complex problems.\nSchedule Management - Manages the project schedule using the recommended project management tools and processes to drive completion within the agreed timeline.\nCustomer focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.\nPlans and aligns - Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.\nManages conflict - Handling conflict situations effectively, with a minimum of noise.\nCommunicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.\n­­­­\n­­ Experience\nGreater than three (3) years of relevant work experience (required) including team leadership experience (preferred).\nCertification\nSupply Chain Certifications - the successful applicant should possess, be working towards, and/or possess the skills and capabilities equivalent to obtaining nationally recognized certification from the Institute for Supply Management (www.ismworld.com).\nChange Management - the successful applicant must be willing to invest time and commitment towards being a champion of change management across the Supply Chain and supporting organizations within Smart Care.\n­­­­\nTravel Requirement\nTravel will be almost exclusively North America based.\nAnticipated travel is dependent upon service organization.\nMaximum 5% with potential to surge to no more than 25%, on exception.\nTravel needs will always be dependent upon need and aligned to both business and family needs.\nOffice Location Offering(s)\nRequested work location is on-site at a Smart Care Solutions location. Collaborative work at a Regional Warehouse location site is sometimes required.
