Working closely with R&D, Production and Quality, you will develop the processes, automation systems and manufacturing capabilities required to support rapid growth while ensuring operational excellence and product quality.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead manufacturing scale-up from current production to mass production.\n\nDesign and implement automated manufacturing processes and workflows.\n\nDevelop robust process architectures ensuring efficiency, stability and repeatability.\n\nDefine automation requirements and manage equipment selection and integration.\n\nEstablish process control systems to meet customer and quality requirements.\n\nDrive continuous improvement in yield, quality, productivity and operational performance.\n\nSupport factory design, production line development, commissioning and ramp-up.\n\nCollaborate with R&D, Production, Quality and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful industrialisation.\n\nBuild and develop a high-performing process engineering capability.\n\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related field.\n\nMinimum 10 years' experience in automation process engineering, industrialisation or advanced manufacturing.\n\nProven experience scaling manufacturing operations from pilot production to mass production.\n\nStrong expertise in factory automation, process engineering and industrial process control.\n\nHands-on experience in production line design, commissioning and optimisation.\n\nExperience working with automation suppliers and system integrators.\n\nStrong leadership, project management and stakeholder management skills.\n\nExperience from one or more of the following industries is highly desirable:\nGraphene and advanced materials\n\nBattery manufacturing and energy storage\n\nSemiconductors\n\nElectronics manufacturing\n\nOther high-tech industrial environments\n\nAdditional Advantages\nExperience participating in factory build-ups from concept to mass production.\n\nExperience working in international manufacturing environments.\n\nExperience from China and/or Europe.\n\nKnowledge of Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing and digital production systems.\n\nLean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar methodologies.\n\nMandarin language skills and experience working with Chinese suppliers or manufacturing organisations.\n\nLanguage Requirements\nFluent English, written and spoken.\n\nMandarin Chinese is highly desirable.\n\nSwedish is
