from qualification and commercialisation into industrial-scale production.\nThe Opportunity\nAs Head of PMO / Senior Project Manager, you will lead key strategic and operational initiatives across the company.\nWorking closely with executive management, manufacturing, engineering, R&D, supply chain and international partners, you will drive complex projects from planning through execution.\nA key focus will be manufacturing expansion, industrialisation and factory scale-up, including facility establishment, equipment implementation, production ramp-up and operational readiness.\nThe position involves frequent international travel, particularly to China, including extended stays when required.\nKey Responsibilities\nStrategic Project Leadership\nLead cross-functional projects from planning through execution.\n\nEstablish project governance, reporting structures and best practices.\n\nDrive timelines, budgets, resource planning and performance tracking.\n\nIdentify and mitigate project risks and operational bottlenecks.\n\nSupport executive management with prioritisation and decision-making.\n\nManufacturing Scale-Up & Industrialisation\nSupport factory establishment and manufacturing expansion initiatives.\n\nCoordinate production readiness and operational launch activities.\n\nParticipate in facility planning, process implementation and ramp-up.\n\nDrive industrialisation projects from pilot production to mass production.\n\nEnsure alignment between manufacturing capabilities and business objectives.\n\nInternational Operations\nCoordinate projects involving teams across Europe and China.\n\nCollaborate with suppliers, customers and strategic partners.\n\nBuild strong cross-functional relationships across international organisations.\n\nSupport operational excellence and continuous improvement.\n\nWho We Are Looking For\nWe are looking for a highly experienced project leader with a strong industrial background and a proven track record of executing complex manufacturing projects.\nYou have experience from factory build-ups, production ramp-ups or industrialisation programmes and understand the challenges of scaling manufacturing operations.\nYou combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and are comfortable working with both senior leadership and operational teams.\nMost importantly, you are a leader who drives execution and delivers results.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, Operations or a related field.\n\nExtensive experience in project management, programme management or PMO leadership.\n\nProven experience leading large-scale industrial or manufacturing projects.\n\nExperience from factory build-ups or industrialisation programmes.\n\nStrong understanding of manufacturing operations and production environments.\n\nExperience leading cross-functional and international teams.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nFluent English, written and spoken.\n\nHighly Meritorious\nExperience from semiconductor, electronics, advanced materials, battery, automotive or deep-tech industries.\n\nExperience from scale-up companies and high-growth environments.\n\nExperience working with manufacturing organisations in China.\n\nKnowledge of automation, process engineering and
