The incumbent will join the Electronic Trading Technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building high-performance, low-latency trading applications and a deep understanding of electronic trading platforms.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop, enhance, and extend electronic trading systems for improved performance, scalability, and functionality.\nCollaborate with global technology teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.\nWork across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.\nIndependently manage project deliveries and ensure timely execution.\nProvide production support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for critical trading applications.\nEngage with business owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.\nDesign and implement distributed, low-latency Equity trading applications.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\nStrong hands-on experience in Python or Java development\nProven experience in designing and developing distributed electronic trading systems, preferably in Equity.\nIn-depth understanding of electronic trading, including: Market microstructure, Order flow and lifecycle, Matching rules, ECN interactions\nStrong expertise in multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.\nSolid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.\nExperience with messaging middleware (e.g., JMS, Kafka, or similar technologies).\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or XP, and continuous integration practices.\nScripting experience in one or more languages (Shell, Python, Perl, Ruby).\nExperience working on front-office trading systems.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBusiness domain knowledge in FX OR Equity\nPrior experience in the electronic trading domain within investment banks or financial institutions.\nExposure to low-latency systems and high-frequency trading
