Senior Software QA Engineer

Testing of a web application for one of the largest airlines sounds interesting?You'll get to work on one of the top products in the global aviation market. You will be responsible for testing our smart web-based applications which optimize, simplify, and improve airline operations.

Please note: this is a 18-month position with a November start date.

• Work independently and guide other QA team members on test automation strategies and best practices.
• Create and maintain reusable frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Implement the procedures, tools and techniques the team uses for automated testing.
• Use automation to create and maintain test data.
• Apply software testing principles and best practices across projects.
• Identify and prioritize the product areas that should be automated.
• Contribute to the progress of the team and the company, making sure quality software ships on time.

Wymagania

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent work experience.
• A QA-minded self-starter who enjoys unique challenges and builds tools and automated tests to hit quality goals.
• 5+ years of experience testing web/mobile applications, services and the data integration layer.
• 3+ years of experience developing automated tests within agile development.
• Strong experience with QA tools such as JMeter/Gatling, Selenium WebDriver/Appium, JUnit/TestNG, REST-assured/SOAP UI, OWASP ZAP, Docker, Git/Gerrit, Jira, Jenkins and Maven.
• Very good Java development skills.
• Very good scripting skills in at least one of: Python, Groovy or Bash.
• Very good SQL skills (Oracle/MSSQL).
• Ability to dive into a codebase and investigate.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects at once in a fast-changing environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• English (B2 or higher).
• Fluency in Polish.
