This is a high-ownership operational role where you'll directly shape how AI-powered automation and human suppliers work together at scale.\nMISSION\nOwn the full marketplace onboarding experience and ensure successful marketplace adoption across the entire customer lifecycle - from pre-sales to steady-state operations - reducing operational risk and enabling efficient, scalable multilingual content delivery while safeguarding Smartcat's service-level commitments for quality and on-time delivery.\nOUTCOMES\nDeliver full onboarding and continuous improvement coverage for new and existing customers using the Smartcat Marketplace\nLeverage Smartcat's automation technologies to reach 90% workflow automation across supported accounts\nEnsure 100% SLA compliance for quality and on-time delivery, stepping in when needed\nBuild and maintain trusted vendor teams, enabling them with Smartcat AI tools and best practices\nConfigure and automate workflow steps, including freelancer assignment, vendor management, and workspace settings\nSet up and manage language assets (TMs, glossaries, style guides) and QA automation, intervening to protect SLAs when risk emerges\nHOW YOU'LL RAMP\nBy Day 30:\nLearn Smartcat's marketplace model, automation technologies, and supplier ecosystem\nShadow onboarding and workflow setup for existing customers, including workflow configuration and vendor management\nMeet your GTM Account, CX, Product, and Engineering partners and get oriented in current marketplace accounts\nBy Day 60:\nOwn onboarding and workflow setup independently for at least one new or existing customer account\nBe actively managing supplier selection and vendor pools, using Smartcat AI supplemented by manual sourcing where needed\nSet up and manage language assets and QA automation for at least one account\nBy Day 90:\nBe delivering on 90% workflow automation and 100% SLA compliance across your supported accounts\nHave led issue resolution or escalation management on at least one at-risk delivery\nBe submitting actionable product feedback and workflow insights that influence roadmap priorities\nWHAT YOU'VE ACCOMPLISHED\n5+ years of experience in project management, vendor management, supply chain management, or operations\nExperience with marketplace environments or large vendor/freelancer pools is a strong plus\nPMP or similar project management certification is a plus\nA proven ability to scope projects, allocate resources, manage risk, and track delivery performance\nA good understanding of technical concepts related to translation technologies, with the ability to leverage AI tools to streamline processes\nA proven ability to deliver support, training, and adoption initiatives\nAn entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative approach\nExcellent communication skills, with experience presenting to different audiences\nHigh attention to detail and strong customer empathy\nIntegrity and full commitment\nAbility to work under pressure and tight deadlines\nComfort working with remote, multicultural teams\nOpenness to constructive feedback and the opinions and ideas of others\nFluent English (additional languages desirable)\nWhy joining Smartcat might be your best move so far\nA global, connected team We’re a team of 200+ people across 30+ countries, working together through a hub-and-spoke model anchored in eight key locations: New York, London, Lisbon, Costa Rica, Serbia, Armenia, Georgia, and Spain.
