THIS IS NOT A REMOTE\nPOSITION.\nPosition Summary \n\nThe Clinical Research Coordinator will support the planning, execution, and closeout of clinical studies involving human subjects. This includes FDA-regulated drug and device trials, NIH-funded research, and investigator-initiated protocols. The CRC ensures compliance with California-specific regulatory frameworks, institutional policies, and federal guidelines (FDA, ICH-GCP, HIPAA).\nExperience in CRC in\nLiver/GI/Obesity studies preferred!\nKey Responsibilities\n\nStudy Operations\nCoordinate Phase I-IV clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas.\nPrepare IRB submissions, amendments, and continuing reviews.\nDevelop and maintain study documentation, SOPs, and case report forms.\nSchedule and conduct study visits, collect data, and ensure protocol adherence.\nParticipant Management\nRecruit, screen, and consent participants in accordance with CPHS and institutional HRPP standards\nEducate participants on study procedures, risks, and rights\nMonitor for adverse events and report per FDA and California Health & Safety Code §24170-24179.5\nRegulatory & Compliance\nMaintain audit-ready records and ensure GCP compliance\nHandle protected health information (PHI) securely under California law\nLiaise with sponsors, monitors, and regulatory bodies\nData & Budget Oversight\nEnter and validate data in CTMS and EDC systems\nAssist with budget development and financial tracking\nCoordinate biospecimen collection, processing, and shipping\nJob Type: Full-time\nWork Location: In person\nRequirements\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in health sciences, biology, nursing, or related field (Master’s preferred).\nFormal training in clinical research or regulatory affairs.\nExperience\n1-3 years of clinical research coordination experience, primarily in liver/GI/obesity studies.\nFamiliarity with California IRB systems and CPHS protocols.\nExperience with FDA-regulated trials and NIH-funded studies.\nSkills\nStrong organizational and time management abilities.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nProficiency in CTMS, EDC, and IRB platforms (e.g., iRIS, OnCore).\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively across teams\nPreferably bilingual in
