At smartQare, you get the opportunity to make a real impact, both nationally and internationally.\nIn this varied role, the emphasis lies on testing backend software: you design, execute, and automate tests that guarantee the quality and reliability of our platform. Alongside this, you are involved in system integration testing of the viQtor wearable, and in interoperability testing between the viQtor backend and third-party clinical information management systems (CIMS) used by our hospital customers. You won't be doing this on your own - you'll be working closely with a team of professionals.\nAbout smartQare:\nsmartQare has developed a solution for continuous patient monitoring, for use both inside the hospital during transitions from hospital to home and at home. Our product portfolio includes two wearable devices, viQtor and Healthdot, which measure vital and non-vital signs and transmit them to the smartQare platform.\nYour profile:\nWe are looking for enthusiastic professionals who love working with technology and are ready to take on the challenge of the complexity of a medical solution. Your work ensures that healthcare professionals have access to reliable, real-time patient data, giving them the ability to improve the quality of care and patient safety.\nA completed university degree (BA/MSc level) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, or a related field.\n\nAt least 3 years of work experience in a similar role.\n\nExperience with backend software testing and embedded device testing (manual and automated).\n\nExperience with CI/CD and test automation tools.\n\nExperience with system integration testing (hardware/software integration) and interoperability testing between software systems is a strong plus.\n\nAffinity with backend development (e.g. Python, Java, Golang) is a plus.\n\nKnowledge of cloud platforms, in particular AWS, and databases.\n\nAffinity with the healthcare sector and knowledge of medical regulations is a bonus, such as ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820, and GDPR.\n\nStrong analytical skills, a proactive attitude, and a team spirit.\n\nFluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.\n\nWhat we offer:\nPrimary employment conditions:\n32 to 40 hours per week, with the option to partly work from home\n\nA one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position\n\nGrowth opportunities within the team\n\nSalary based on experience and qualifications\n\n25 vacation days (based on a full-time 40-hour work week), with the option to purchase additional days\n\nSecondary employment conditions:\nCompany laptop\n\nTraining and development opportunities\n\nTravel expense reimbursement\n\nWhy work at smartQare?\nBesides challenging projects and our mission to shape the future of healthcare, smartQare offers even more.
