And we're looking for people who want to work in a collaborative and fun environment to fuel our next wave of safety innovation.\n\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing, sales, product, HR and leadership teams to extract effective, accurate content and newsworthy stories from within and outside the organization.\nContent Planning & Scheduling: Plan and schedule high-quality content aligned with messaging guidelines and lead generation goals while maintaining consistency \nMulti-Channel Writing & Editing: Write, edit, and proofread targeted marketing content across all channels, supporting marketing and corporate objectives for SMG and First Light Safety Products\nBrand Consistency: Work closely with the marketing team, including graphic designers to develop all assets to ensure rigorous consistency, accuracy, and alignment\nA Diverse Role at a Growing Organization: Contribute proactively to additional marketing projects, agile initiatives, and special assignments as needed\nWHAT YOU BRING\nDegree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business Administration, or equivalent experience\n4+ years of experience in related fields\nStrong copywriting skills with a focus on engaging, story-driven content\nHighly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical\nClear, professional communicator with strong interpersonal skills\nSelf-motivated and results-driven, with a strong work ethic, creativity, and ability to manage multiple priorities\nDemonstrated ability to transform data and information into clear and persuasive content \nExperienced in developing content strategies with tailored messaging for segmented audiences\nKnowledge of photography and video production considered an asset\nAbility to travel within Canada and the United States\nWORKING AT SMG\n\nGrowth creates opportunity, and we’re investing in the workplace, technology, and talent that will shape our future.
